ERNIE CHAVEZ, PT Ernie graduated from the University of Utah and has been practicing physical therapy since 1994. He has been active in sports, including a member of the US National Boxing team from 1979-1980. Ernie won a gold medal at the National Olympic Sports festival as a boxer in the bantam weight division. He then continued his career as a professional, world-ranked boxer. He is currently active in running, including a personal best of 2 hours and 26 minutes for a marathon. Ernie has been practicing orthopedic, back, and sport injuries since 1998. He has received certifications in Ergonomic and Industrial Rehab, including functional capacity evaluations from the Back School of Atlanta. He also specializes in running injuries and running evaluations. Ernie has been a co-owner of Wasatch Therapy for 3 years now. |

MELISSA ITA'AEHAU, DPT Melissa graduated with a doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Utah in 2005 and has been practicing at Wasatch Therapy ever since. She has focused her continuing education in women’s health issues, as well as receiving certification in the treatment of lymphedema. Melissa is also involved in treating sports related injuries While at Utah State she participated in Track & Field competing in the pole vault. She remains active in running and sports, and enjoys spending time with her husband and three children. |
ROBERT BLACK, MPT Rob began his experience with physical therapy as a high school athlete with multiple injuries requiring skilled intervention. His college days at the University ofUtah included a brief but sobering season of basketball under Coach Rick Majerus, and concluded with the realization of his true dream: a Masters degree in Physical Therapy! Since graduation in 1999, Rob has had the pleasure of guiding many people back to their normal activities and passions in life. Since 2005 he has served as the primary spine specialist in an outpatient setting, and was thrilled to receive his spinal certification from the McKenzie Institute in 2008. |
ASHLEE CRESSWELL, DPT Ashlee recieved her Bachelor of Science from Utah State University in 2007 and her doctorate of Physical Therapy from Idaho State University in May of 2010. She attended Woods Cross High School where she played basketball and softball. She currently resides in Farmington and spends her free time snowboarding, wakeboarding, playing volleyball and doing anything active. She's excited to be a part of the Wasatch Therapy team! |
ROBYN JUDD, DPT Robyn graduated with a doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Utah in 2005 and has been practicing at Wasatch Therapy since. She has focused her postgraduate studies on women's health including incontinence, pelvic pain and pregnancy. She also completed her doctorate project on low back pain and attended courses on spine disorders. Robyn is married with three kids. She enjoys playing her guitar and with her dog Luke. She participates in recreational activities such as mountain biking, snowboarding, skiing, and wakeboarding. She and her husband co-own Decade Snow and Skate. Robyn is happy to be part of the Wasatch team. |
RYAN WEBB, MPT Ryan grew up in Davis County and received his Masters degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Utah. Experienced in all types of injuries, Ryan brings to the Wasatch Therapy team expertise in manual and orthopedic physical therapy, including headache management. Ryan strives to provide all of his patients with quality and personalized one-on-one care. Ryan currently lives in Davis County and enjoys water skiing, playing the drums in a local band, and spending time with his wife and four kids. |
