Carol Baird

Fitness Expert | Speaker | Educator

While teaching and acting as the Group Fitness Director at Gold’s Gym for many years, Carol was part of the Northern Utah Women’s Conference, a member of the Utah Fitness Speakers Association Board, Presenter at the Women-to-Women Life Success Seminars, Women Celebrating Life and more.

She is the author of Lifestyles, weight-loss through behavior modification program, Fast and Easy Low fat Recipes and her latest series The Shape of Your Life – a series on how to keep the mind, body and spirit “in shape” at any age.

She has founded several fitness programs for gyms such as “Nifty over Sixty” and “Kids’ Cardio” as well as her own instructor training program “Shape it Up” and has introduced them as a presenter nationwide and in Jamaica. 

Carol also began “Forever Fit”, a Seniors fitness program for Assisted Living and Retirement Centers, and currently teaches exercise, strength and balance classes at several of those facilities.  She has also set up several corporate fitness programs for companies such as the IRS, Iomega and IHC/McKay-Dee Hospital.

Carol is a Certified Exercise Specialist and Personal Trainer with the American Council on Exercise (ACE)and the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA).  She currently teaches Personal Fitness Training at Eagle Gate College as well as training and doing body care classes for Wasatch Therapy and Fitness.
